- NPC job titles have been reworked to make more sense for each job.
- New RSS Feed for this change list.
- Improved our meta description tags. If you post a settlement, dwelling, npc etc. on social media, you should see part of that record's description too.
- When using "Call the Guards," watchmen and guards no longer heavily favour sending out recruits first.
- Cleaned up Settlement search by removing races that have zero results.
- Added location map to bridges, crossroads, and docks.
- Maps can now be found in npc inventories.
- Itinerants lists are now ordered by their economic activity.
- Some NPCs formally labeled as "Bandit" are now labeled as "Thief."
- Added "Other Factions" menu to faction pages.

- Fix bandit and pirate camp descriptions.
- Fix storyline NPCs having incorrect ranks.
- Fix wizards outside universities from being assigned a university title. This bug also caused there to be too few high ranking wizards.

New error reporting tools have allowed us to sniff out a number of bugs. Some were addressed as hotfixes on our last update.

- Added some new adventure hooks:
- In Caspio's Avatar, meet the avatar of one of Ataland's gods.
- In Scrumpy Quest, track down some rare booze for a barkeep.
- Fixed some previously written lore at Sicars Beacon that was never visible.

- Added procedurally generated books to inventories to compliment our hand-crafted library of books. Books will also appear more often in inventories and bookshops have slightly larger stocks.

- New Lore
- Added a new adventure, Pipeleaf Smugglers.
- Added story to Catalyst Spire, providing a plot-hook to bring in adventuring parties from other settings.
- Provided some guidance on running a game in Ataland.
- Changes and Additions
- Changed the way we present lore that is attached to npcs, buildings, and locations. Lore is now grouped in to one of three categories, with potentially more to come.
- Adventures contains plot hooks for adventures you might wish to send your players on.
- Groups contains information about important groups of npcs.
- Politics contains important local political information.
- When viewing a settlement, you will now also see lore that is attached to buildings and npcs in that settlement.
- Tavern & Inn revamp. Public houses now have a random selection of punters and sometimes hire bards as entertainment. You might even overhear some juicy gossip!
- Marital Status added to the NPC search.
- Changed the way we present lore that is attached to npcs, buildings, and locations. Lore is now grouped in to one of three categories, with potentially more to come.
- Bug Fixes
- Fixed dead NPCs rarely responding when using the "Call the Guards" function.
- Fixed missing description texts. (Most obviously seen in Otterfolk homes.)
- Fixed some magic users having inappropriate spells for their alignment. As a result of this fix, many NPCs have changed their alignment.

This update focused on rebalancing the economic sim and refinements to how we approach mounts.
- Changed how citizens decide what kind of shop to build. Settlements will now have a greater variety of shops and less clumping.
- Rebalanced, renamed, merged, added, and removed many economic activities.
- Changes to stabling and mount availability:
- Dedicated stables now only appear in the largest settlements.
- Stabling services are instead available in some inns, taverns and adventurer's guilds.
- Added the turtalor, an aquatic mount. A pricy but popular choice in Ataland.
- Added mount farmers and traveling mount traders. Both horse and turtalor variants can be found.
- Other tweaks & updates to shops, including:
- Added descriptions Barbers & Groomers.
- An update to fishmonger's description and inventory.
- Patisseries now come in Pastry Shop and Bakehouse variants.
- Added a short summary of road types to the player's guide.
- Old update notes now have their own dedicated page.

- You can now find handcrafted Plot Hooks attached to NPCs, Dwellings, and Settlements. While there are only a few available at the moment, anticipate many more in the future. Plot Hooks will play a significant role in conveying Ataland's lore. See a random plothook!
