Meltford Maps

This tiny unassuming shop is perhaps one of the most important in all Ataland. Inside is the workshop of its owner, Gillebertus Hess, and a small shopfront selling dozens of printed maps. Gillebertus is well known as the finest map-maker in Ataland. Thanks to his exhausting research and network of sailors and rangers, his maps are extremely accurate and frequently updated. The maps are printed using a traditional carved wood technique on thick velum, designed to withstand abuse.

Most other maps in Ataland are mere copies of Gillebertus' work. However he does not want for customers. Owning an authentic Hess map is considered mark of pride in navigation circles.
