Lore

Randolph Silias wears vestment robes resemble that of a judge, as is the style of clerics of Solos. He is fit despite his age and has a keen mind. Greeting visitors with a friendly and welcoming manner, he is normally willing to dispense his wisdom to those that ask for it.

Randolph is one of the foremost experts on the mythology and religious history of Ataland. He has spent his life researching myth and legend. Not just from his own faith, but every other one too. In doing so, he has travelled across Ataland, and made contacts in every major temple. Controversially, he even has friends among Gaia's clerics, who are normally seen as dangerously lawless by followers of Solos.

Randolph has published many tomes on religious lore, an excerpt of which can be read in the Setting Guide.

Randolph carries a holy relic of his faith, The Sword of Truth. Randolph may be willing to gift the sword to a player who also follows Solos and he believes shares his goals.

Once per day, if the flat of this sword is pressed against the skin of a creature, it must make a Charisma saving throw DC 13. You know the outcome of the roll. On a success, nothing happens. On a failed save, for the next 10 minutes, or until the blade is removed, the creature is enchanted. If the creature tells a deliberate lie it takes 1 point of radiant damage from the sword. The enchantment does not compel the creature to speak.
