6 | 23 gp | 20 gp | Clockwork Parts | common | A selection of junk screws, springs, gears, and other clockwork parts.
6 | 400 gp | 360 gp | Kinetic cyclopedia | uncommon |
A remarkable clockwork book. Cycle the letter knobs to spell out the thing you are interested in, and an internal parchment scroll will be scrolled to the correct entry. The writing on the scroll is tiny, and must be read though the thick built-in magnifying lens. Unfortunately, the text itself has many omissions and contains much that is apocryphal, or at least wildly inaccurate. The cyclopedia is wound by your footsteps. For each mile walked, the item winds enough for 5 minutes power. The spring can store a total of 30 minutes power, which can be used at will via an on/off toggle. |

3 | 29 gp | 25 gp | Navigator's tools | common | This set of instruments is used for navigation at sea. Proficiency with navigator's tools lets you chart a ship's course and follow navigation charts. In addition, these tools allow you to add your proficiency bonus to any ability check you make to avoid getting lost at sea. | 2 lbs. |
1 | 230 gp | 200 gp | Pocket Watch | common | A mechanical wonder. When wound once per day, this pocket watch keeps time for you.
2 | 270 gp | 240 gp | Steam calculator | uncommon |
A mess of dials, levers and clock-faces. This device performs mathematical calculations with perfect accuracy. The device is capable of performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and root operations. Caution: dividing by zero can cause damage to the mechanism. The calculator is powered by a small, yet noisy, steam engine that can be turned on and off at will. The engine can hold 1/4 of a pint of oil, which it consumes in 1 hour of operation. (See flask of oil in the SRD.) |

2 | 270 gp | 240 gp | Steam mistars board | uncommon |
Looks like a normal Mistars board. (A popular two-player strategy game of elven origin.) When powered, the second player's moves are made automatically. The mistars board plays with a +4 to it's ability check. The mistars board is powered by a small, yet noisy, steam engine that can be turned on and off at will. The engine can hold 1/4 of a pint of oil, which it consumes in 1 hour of operation. (See flask of oil in the SRD.) |

1 | 140 gp | 120 gp | Wind-up audio reproducer | uncommon |
Records sound by cutting a grove in to a wet clay cylinder. Can also play the sound back. The sound loses much of it's depth, but is surprisingly audible. A single clay cylinder can contain 1 minute of sound. The cylinders are very fragile once made. The audio reproducer has a key which when wound for 6 seconds (1 turn) powers the audio reproducer for 1 minute. Maximum wind time is 1 minute, giving 10 minutes power. |
