| 1 | 8 gp | "Advanced Weaving" (Dog-eared) | common |
By Emeldida Eledhwen Pearson A compilation of some very complex weaving patterns. To the layman, the techniques presented may as well be magical, and even an accomplished weaver may have difficulty with some of the patterns. The book is a bit dog-eared, but in serviceable condition. |

| 1 | 360 gp | Steam cyclopedia | uncommon |
A remarkable clockwork book. Cycle the letter knobs to spell out the thing you are interested in, and an internal parchment scroll will be scrolled to the correct entry. The writing on the scroll is tiny, and must be read though the thick built-in magnifying lens. Unfortunately, the text itself has many omissions and contains much that is apocryphal, or at least wildly inaccurate. The cyclopedia is powered by a small, yet noisy, steam engine that can be turned on and off at will. The engine can hold 1/4 of a pint of oil, which it consumes in 1 hour of operation. (See flask of oil in the SRD.) |
