| 1 | 720 gp | Imp-powered cyclopedia | uncommon |
A remarkable clockwork book. Cycle the letter knobs to spell out the thing you are interested in, and an internal parchment scroll will be scrolled to the correct entry. The writing on the scroll is tiny, and must be read though the thick built-in magnifying lens. Unfortunately, the text itself has many omissions and contains much that is apocryphal, or at least wildly inaccurate. The cyclopedia is powered by a tiny imp. The magical creature is not pleased about this, can only be coaxed in to action for a total of one hour each day, and is likely to complain the whole time. Should the imp ever escape, it will probably seek vengeance on it's former master. (See SRD for monster stats: Devil, Imp) While trapped, the imp is unable to use any of it's Special Traits or Actions. |

Four custom carved oak batons, designed for playing the popular otterfolk game Riversticks. The sticks have been shaped for both aquadynamics and sturdiness, but each is of a slightly different shape. Playing riversticks requires flowing water. Sticks are dropped in the water and raced to a downstream finish-line. Riversticks may appear to be a game of chance, but expert players know how to give themselves the edge with starting placement and by knowing which of their sticks to use on a given course. |
