Lore
Lóhal wears simple scholar robes and her hands are stained with ink. If found at work Lóhal has a busy look about her, continually moving from place to place thumbing through drafts of her books. She may even try to get rid of visitors by saying that she is far too busy today and suggesting coming again later.
Lóhal is a historian and author. She has penned many popular books and pamphlets, including A brief history of Ataland for children (or busy adults), which can be read in the Player's Guide. It is unfair to say her books are inaccurate, but it is true that her research is not as rigorous as her less financially focused peers. Despite this shortcoming, she genuinely has a passion for teaching history.
When questioned, Lóhal will try to sell a copy of one of her books containing the answer. She may be willing to identify historical artefacts for a fee.
Lóhal isn't the adventuring type and isn't very useful in a fight. It will be a real challenge to drag her away from writing her books.
